Bought this for a friend, expecting it to be a terrible $400 joke of a cello. This was not the case.
The bow is terrible, get a new one immediately. The cello is beautiful and sounds great, but if you want better quality, new strings wont hurt. The cello it's self surpassed $1,200 cellos I tried out in stores. Overall we were both very pleased with it. The only reason that it is 4 stars is because the bow is almost useless and the strings could be better. Definitely worth the buy, however.
