Size, shape and functionality are all great. The lack of a set of wheels is mildly inconvenient, but I bought this one because it was the least expensive of the consumer style physician's scale. Repeats weights perfectly. The only flaw was a manufacturing one. The fasteners that hold part of the unit together thread into sheet metal, rather than a hex nut and it looks like it could strip out very easily. Other than that, I would recommend it to anyone.

It took awhile, but I was finally able to purchase this at a reasonable price. The product arrived in strong packaging, so it was in good condition. I did not find it difficult to assemble, since I had someone to help hold the top part while I hooked it to the mechanism in the bottom portion which makes it work. It would be hard to do alone. The instructions for fine-tuning it were clear and easy to apply. It is vary accurate. The readings on our scale matched the readings on the scales of 3 different doctors offices.

After having trouble with multiple digital scales failing for various mysterious reasons (even after replacing the batteries) we decided to find something that did not need batteries or wires to work. I did not want a cheap scale that I would not have confidence in the accuracy of. After reading many reviews we settled on this scale. I am very glad we did. It is accurate, easy to read, and sturdy. We have been very pleased with this scale.

Unit comes in a very sturdy casing, reads weight very consistently, has easy to read dial, and is attractive in the bathroom. Only drawback, I wish the footpad was a little larger. I have a size 10 shoe, any larger would be tough to stand evenly on the scale for an accurate reading.
